Overview:
Easier to say than most buzzwords, DevOps is also a bit easier to understand too based upon the general structure of the name. “Dev” meaning developers, and “Ops” meaning IT Operations staff. But this umbrella term encompasses a variety of interrelated and quickly evolving technologies, as well as a profound culture shift. The culture and the technology can be difficult to understand, even for people working directly in the field.
In this talk, we will lay the foundation of DevOps for non-technical people in order to make better sense of the DevOps landscape, the tools involved, and, most importantly, the culture shift that organizations need to make in order to achieve success in this new method of working to deliver better software.
